Warden Lewis
Mankind is just
a living being
That crawls upon
the Earth.
He is hungry and
thirsty.
He defecates and
urinates.
He dresses and
shelters himself.
He works and
rests.
He loves and
hates.
He laughs and
cries.
He looks after
his children.
He teaches his
youth.
He takes care of
his patients.
He buries his
dead.
He looks forward
to live among his fellows.
He searches
explanations of the universe and life.
He invents and
destroys things.
He succeeds and makes
mistakes.
He improves his
outcomes and corrects his mistakes.
He stores and
renews knowledges in his brain.
He believes and
doubts.
He thinks and
dreams.
He hopes and
fears.
He wishes to
live forever.
He dies after
becoming tired of all these things,
Returning do the
cosmic dust
To feed minute
living beings.
